ASG Tushar Mehta Appointed As Solicitor General Of India

The Central government on October 10, 2018, appointed Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Tushar Mehta as the Solicitor General of India.

The post was vacant since October 20, 2017, after the resignation of former solicitor general of India Ranjit Kumar.
